Emma Kaye

Emma Kaye is a reporter, and anchors Good Morning East Texas Weekend on Saturday mornings.

She first joined the KLTV news team in 2023 as a producer, where she worked on KLTV 7 News at 4 and 5 p.m.

Emma grew up in Palestine, graduating from Westwood I.S.D., and the University of Texas at Tyler with a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Pre-law - where she also took part in the university's Model United Nations Programme for students interested in studying diplomacy and international relations. There, she honed her negotiation and research skills while also pursuing a deeper understanding of current global issues. Today, she continues to put those skills to use diligently reporting on matters that directly impact East Texans.

Outside of work, Emma can likely be found trying new recipes in her kitchen - or cuddling with her three cats Harley, Oliver, and June.
